Cork Warehouse Hamburg

Following Cork House and the associated research, CSK Architects and The Bartlett UCL are working with a German property developer to develop a pilot project for a plant-based construction system for light-industrial buildings.  In addition to the life cycle narrative developed with Cork House, there is an interest in developing the solid cork building envelope with an economy of means.  Arup are providing consultancy on structural engineering and fire strategy.
