Compton Elms
Pinkneys Green

A 1930’s red brick house with a
complex internal layout consisting
of many small rooms for which there
was a requirement to make a more
open plan arrangement with simple direct circulation starting with a more obvious front door

Minor external alterations to the
existing fabric such as lowering
the window cills so as to enhance
the views over the surrounding fields
and gardens significantly improved
the aspect and gives the house a
much more generous feel

Winner of the Royal Borough of Windsor
& Maidenhead Design Award 2001
